Q. I have never used a pet sitter before. How can I make sure I am getting a trustworthy, dependable pet sitter to
care for my pets and property?

A. We understand the responsibility of caring for your pets and property.  We take this responsibility very seriously.  Kayla is a
Registered Veterinary Technician with over 14 years experience caring for all kinds of pets.  Justin is a Certified K-9 Handler and
Trainer with over 5 years of experience.   We are active members in good standing with The Association of Pet Sitting Excellence and
we have special pet sitting insurance and bonding that covers all associates of BoneJour Pet Sitting.

Q. What does BoneJour Pet Sitting typically provide for a client when they are out of town?

A. Our typical client requests 1-3 visits per day, each visit typically lasts anywhere from 15-45 minutes depending on the types and
number of pets and services requested.  We treat each client and their pets as individuals.  We will perform each service the client has
requested in addition to our normal visit services.  During each visit, we will always provide fresh water, food, clean the yard, litter box
and cages as directed, administer medications as requested, companionship, exercise & belly rubs.  For dogs, walks are included in the
cost of our visits. We are happy to accommodate most special requests as we want your pets to be as happy and comfortable as
possible while you are away.  We will also look after your home by bringing in your mail and newspapers, alternate lights and drapery,
set out and bring in the garbage and recycling and water your plants.  This gives your home a "lived in" appearance while you are away

Q. Do you have references that I can call?

A. Absolutely!  We are proud to say that more than 90% of our clients are referrals from other
clients AND other pet sitters.  We always provide you with real references you can check!

Q. What type of pets does BoneJour Pet Sitting care for?

A. We love all pets great or small!  We will care for most pets as long as they do not pose a
danger to us and do not have a history of aggression to other people or pets.

Q. Will you be the only pet sitter, or will there be others in my home?

A. We believe that having one, regular pet sitter is best for your pets and your peace of mind.  We provide all the pet sitting services
ourselves.  If for some reason we are unable to perform a pet sit for any reason, we do have back up pet sitters. available.

Q. Will you discipline my pets in my absence?

A. No.  We will, however, enforce your "rules" such as no pets allowed on couch, no long distance phone calls, no staying out past
curfew, etc.

Q. What areas do you serve?

A. Currently, our service area includes all communities located within the general Evergreen area, including
Bergen Park and Kittredge.

Q. Will you board my dog in your home?

A. Due to liability restrictions, we are unable to provide this service at this time

Q. What is the capital of Vermont?

Just seeing if you were paying attention.  Oh, it's Montpelier.

Q. Will you share pet sitting duties with our neighbors or friends?

A. For liability purposes, we will not share pet sitting duties with anyone other than BoneJour Pet Sitting pet sitters.  Sharing duties
can also become confusing, especially if the pet has a special diet, requires medication administration, or has other special needs.

Q. I have a few special items at my house that I also would like  to have taken care of while I am gone. Will BoneJour
Pet Sitting be able to take care of this while I am gone?

A. Most definitely!  We would be happy to customize our service to meet your needs as much as possible.  From watering your orchid
collection to filling your hummingbird feeder...we've got you covered!

Q. What forms of payment do you accept and when are payments and deposits expected?

A. We accept cash, check, Visa, Master card, American Express & Discover Card via Pay Pal as payment for services and deposits.  For
all clients, a 50% deposit is expected at the time your reservation is made to hold your reservation.  The balance of the contract is due
no later than the first day the assignment is to commence.   For more information on this and our standard operating procedures,
please visit our
Policies & Procedures page.

Q. So, how do I get started if I want to use your service?

A. In order to provide the absolute best pet care, we believe it is necessary for you and your pets to get to know their pet sitter and
discuss your specific needs.  To facilitate this, we provide a free introductory meeting with each of our new clients before we begin
any assignment.  Please call us at

here.  We will be happy to schedule an appointment at your convenience.  Remember, weekends and holidays book quickly.  We are
able to provide the highest quality care by not overbooking thus, we work on a first come, first serve basis.  So book early!
