Kayla & Isafella de Toledano
~Justin~

Justin grew up in Colorado and Wyoming and was instilled with a respect for animals at an early age.  He
helped out in the summers on his uncle's sheep ranch and at home, his family has always had a special place
in their hearts for cats.   While in Colorado, he started on a new career path that led him to his current
position as a Canine Explosive Detection handler.  As BoneJour Pet Sitting has continued to grown, he has
always lent a hand with events and with pet sitting and dog walking when needed.  He enjoys this extra
contact and interaction with pets.

MacPherson 2006

~Kayla~

My name is Kayla MacPherson and I own and operate BoneJour Pet Sitting in Littleton, Colorado.   My goal
has always been to offer pets and their owners a better alternative to boarding in a kennel or veterinary
hospital while they were out of town.  I started the original BoneJour Pet Sitting in Laguna Niguel,
California in 2004.   When we moved back to Colorado in September of 2007, I knew I wanted to continue
pet sitting.

Pets have always been a very important part of my life.  While growing up, I had the opportunity to have
many pets and was always the kid who brought home the stray, sick and injured animals.  At any given
time, I was hand feeding abandoned baby birds, trying to find homes for stray kittens and dreaming of one
day working with animals as a career.   When I was about 10 years old, I started my first business selling my
pet chicken's eggs door to door. After that, I enjoyed breeding, hand-raising and selling; hamsters, guppies,
budgies and cockatiels.  Eventually, I started offering dog walking and pet sitting services to friends and
neighbors.
In 1995, my love of animals took me to beautiful Denver, Colorado where I attended the Bel-Rea School of
Veterinary Technology.  I  graduated in 1997 with a degree in Applied Veterinary Sciences.  After I finished
my internship at Alameda East Animal Hospital, I worked in general practice and animal emergency as a
Veterinary Technician.  Moving to California from Colorado in 2001, I began working as a Veterinary
Surgical Nurse at a surgical specialty practice in Tustin.

I have been pet sitting all along throughout the years on a casual basis.  In 2004, I decided to make it official
and BoneJour Pet Sitting was born.  I became a member of Pet Sitters International and also became Bonded
and fully Liability Insured.  I subscribe to pet care periodicals and I keep current on pet related issues and
animal welfare. Even though I have a great deal of fun every day,  I take my job extremely seriously.   I
always place my clients and their pets as my highest priority.  I am dedicated to being there for you and
your pets in the most reliable, friendly, caring and experienced manner.  I always strive to surpass my clients
expectations of a pet sitter.   I have found pet sitting to be extremely rewarding and it is my pleasure to
provide quality, in home pet care for my clients.
